Green Soils

OPEN TOP GROW BAGS

Open top grow bags are also used by growers of greenhouses, nurseries and home gardens for growing purposes using hydroponic techniques. Depending on the unique customer needs, Greensoils produces a wide range of open-top grow bags with different mixes of coco peat and coco chips to match the crop requirements. Similar to that of grow bags, the naked slab can also be used with grow trays. In a 40 foot container, we can generally load 25,000 pieces subject to the weight limitations given by the customers.

HEALTH BENEFITS

Low calorie, very low in fat, cholesterol-free, sodium-free and a good source of fiber. Grape tomatoes contain lycopene, vitamins C, and beta-carotene, as well as several other vitamins and minerals.

SELECTION

We choose only the best grape tomatoes for our Cherubs. When making our selection, we look for skins that are bright in color and tight (not wrinkled). Cherubs grape tomatoes should be firm to mostly firm when gently squeezed. The fruit should be free of bruises, cracks or blemishes.

STORAGE

Grape tomatoes are best when stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight or in the refrigerator crisper in a plastic clamshell or paper bag. Tomatoes may be stored up to five days, but may have the best flavor when eaten within the first three days.

PREPARATION

Rinse tomatoes before slicing or eating. Grape tomatoes can be rinsed in a colander with cool running water or washed individually. Place on a clean paper towel to dry.
